Hi,

I declare the staging repo for SimRel 2018-09 respin to be complete.

The respin only includes the changes for Corrosion and Xtext.

As usual, it can be found here:

http://download.eclipse.org/staging/2018-09/

Please note, that we are still in the quiet period for 2018-09. If no
further blocking issues are found, RC2 respin will become the official
2018-09 release on Wednesday, September 19th.

Regards,

Fred

Fred,

I see the following version of OCL Pivot in the staging repo; I would
have expected it would be a newer version given Ed Willink's update to
SimRel as mentioned in the threads on the respin topic:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<p2:Requirement
    xmi:version="2.0"
    xmlns:xmi="http://www.omg.org/XMI"
    xmlns:p2="http://www.eclipse.org/oomph/p2/1.0"
    name="org.eclipse.ocl.pivot"
versionRange="[1.5.0.v20180910-0900,1.5.0.v20180910-0900]"/>

Did you exclude OCL somehow?

Regards,
Ed

Ed,

My bad. I missed the fact that the OCL change needs to be included in
the respin. That's why I only included the changes for Corrosion and
Xtext. m(

So let's respin the respin.

Fred

Hi

What happened to the OCL contribution that fixed the transitive IP problem.

Why is there a new version of TextMate Core?

Why doesn't RedDeer have the mandatory four part versions?

I missed that it needs to be included in the respin. New respin is
building right now.

AFAIK this is part of the fix for Corrosion.

I don't know why, but this did not change as part of the respin.

AFAIK this is part of the fix for Corrosion.
This fixes an NPE in TM4E that was useful for Corrosion blocker
investigation, but it's not a requirement as the standalone fix in
Corrosion is enough. The issue in TM4E wasn't the blocker for Corrosion.
Similarly to Corrosion, I've put the snapshot of TM4E in SimRel, so same
cause same effect. That said, it's a good thing this patch got into SimRel
and I think it's safe and better that it is included. The only 2 downstream
project (Corrosion and TM4E) I'm aware of are between not and positively
impacted by this update.

You are right here, I checked previously included Beta version bits of
RedDeer and there is timestamp like required. I guess that there is wrong
set up in tycho packaging plugin about final qualifier. Have to fix that.

Is that a problem that requires another respin after I find a fix?

Thanks for the respin and sorry for causing some trouble.
The EPP package for Rust looks great thanks to everyone involved in this
respin!
